I'm not in a place where I want to travel with a team constantly bc I want to spend time with my kids, so I am actuallyhappy to recommend people, but only ones that I know are good. Then I also will go on site and train coaches for like 2-day stints, but that has B2B training charges.

Too familiar. Some of my favourite requests are, "can you recommend somebody who does what you do, but cheaper?" and "can you train our junior analyst in a week to do what you do?"

I am half-tempted to do a Set Pieces Updated course, in person only, for club personnel only. But I don't want to listen to complaints about what I'd charge to do it. It started out around $500 to attend. Then 600, Then 1.5k. Then 2.5K [BIG COMPLAINTS]. Then exclusive licenses. Now...???

Bringing this over: It is POSSIBLE that media people who are new to data application in football should not assume data people use the data like the general public or other media people. Most of what has propagated in the public data space has significant adjustments when used by experts at clubs.
