Tonight marked the first time in Columbus Crew history that they have scored five goals in the first half of a regular season match. The last time Columbus scored five goals in a half was against Atlanta United on March 25, 2023 (second half).

With both games at the half, the Columbus soccer team has scored more times than the Columbus football team. Weird.
