How funny. Council's outsourced planning inspector, on a visit unaccompanied by the applicant, stands in the wrong place and hence deems sightlines for a proposed pedestrian crossing inadequate. "Are we all agreed that this is the location of the proposed crossing?" would have avoided red faces.

Kaylem Longhurst habitually rode a motorbike dangerously around Shotton, Flintshire. Whilst he was doing so on 11 Sept 2024, he hit and seriously injured a 6-year-old child. He fled. His sister burnt his clothes, and her partner drove him to York, to hide, all co-ordinated by his Mum. Lovely folk.

My understanding is that Starmer was never talented - no strategic nous, can't manage people, indecisive - because he was prepared to be useful to other people. Decarbonisation is the answer. This is the second fossil fuel crisis in just a few years. The evidence is clear: dependency on fossil fuels remains the most expensive option for Europe — and citizens are feeling it at the petrol station, in the supermarket, and on their bills.

We shouldn't let Trump's obvious vendetta against "windmills" (he's such a dufus) distract us from the fact that it's very clear that both markets and consumers vastly prefer the lower cost energy sources that hedge fossil fuel price volatility: wind and solar. electrek.co/2026/04/01/f...

Three comments on this; two facetious, one sincere. 1. Notice how Ed is leaning to the right? He does that. 2. Developers already renege on affordable housing proportion within schemes, claiming unviability 3. There's literally *no other way* of funding services. If only someone could invent one.
