Y'see, what I'm not a fan of about YouTube dissections of videogame design is that they take such a granular "list of pros and cons" approach in most cases without seeing the bigger picture of how things fit together to make a working whole. A 'problem' might be the glue making another thing work.

Inktober sets completely unrealistic expectations regarding output. Making a complete inked drawing in one day EVERY day for a month is insane and a recipe for burnout. Don’t tie your worth to something that even professionals believe is unrealistic.

Wish my excitement for gamedev didn't evaporate the moment someone said one of my character designs looked like a Silksong OC because I had the audacity to include a white (actually silver) helmet with black holes for eyes.

The official word back in the day was that Saturn TR2 was cancelled because apparently the console couldn't do it. When I eventually played it on PS1, I swore this was wrong and years later it's so good to have my belief validated by the amazing effort of this dev. <3
