Spent a few hours today volunteering at my town’s fix-it clinic, held at our library. I lent my sewing skills to people who needed mending help. This extends the life of clothing and keeps them out of the trash. I really enjoy doing this. A better world is possible if we put in the time & show up.

for the longest time i genuinely did not consider audiobooks as a legitimate form of consuming books. but then i remembered that before formal writing systems all stories were shared orally. if anything, audiobooks are the more ancient human form in some ways.

I think not enough people understand that the pushback against renewables and EV's is money. Without getting too in the weeds: renewables cannot ever be as profitable as oil and gas. EV's don't make as much money as gas guzzlers. That's it. That's all you really need to know.
