Many people share living memories of the last time our country deemed members of 1 ethnic group "enemy aliens" & sent them to camps in remote parts of the American West. It was wrong then, & is wrong now. But just because our country falls short of its own ideals doesn't make us love it less.

There's no declaration of war, and no AUMF that covers this. Entering this war is wrong on the merits; we had a perfectly peaceful way to address Iran's nuclear program. It's also unlawful. A democratic republic should not be able to enter a war of choice on one man's say-so.
