I think it's great how in FF14 the moment you leave to do your first main quest you slowly (picking up herbs) walk into a populated player hub. Kinda like a "welcome to the MMO!" moment.

I finished Esoteric Ebb and it's pretty good! I think writing-wise it's pretty witty and well-worth picking up! It is also very much a contemporary political commentary, as opposed to Disco's more broad approach. Feels like chatting to a University professor about the state of things in many ways.
