The longest drive I've done was from Ottawa to Regina (through Sudbury then Michigan Minnesota and North Datoka) I think it took about 27 hours? 2 drivers (taking turns) Spent Canada Day in Ottawa and then hopped in the car shortly after midnight and started driving. 2620 km.

Placeholder assets in a game should look obnoxiously temporary, so obvious that no one would mistake it for the final asset. If you use a temp asset that seems passable, it may stay there.
