I was playing DND a few weeks ago and I described the party going up a set of stairs. “One of my players asks, Do they have an elevator?” I feel like such a goober for not recognizing that one of my players, who is in a wheelchair, might also be playing a character who uses a wheelchair.

Once again I find that the mistake I made was assuming anybody cared in the first place. Hoisted by my own petard, I suppose.

I think it is really hard and somewhat silly to criticize dnd when everything in the game just comes down to “roll a d20, high number good low number bad” so I get very confused by people who get angry at dnd. It is so flexible idk how you can’t make it work for you

I’m trying to write, roleplay, play video games, learn to skateboard, plan a weekly DND game, and go to grad school. I’m working 40 hours a week, trying to eat healthy, all on top of trying to manage multiple monthly doctors appointments and roller coaster mood wings.
