Nice AI-image-generating tool, but it will never be as great an artist as Onfim, a child who lived in the Novgorod Republic in the mid-1200s and who scribbled these drawings and schoolwork writings on birch bark at the age of 6 or 7.

Watching Metropolis for the first time in ages; it's really interesting how the exaggerated silent film acting often communicates things with greater subtlety than a more naturalistic aproach.

I get a little envious when I read about peoples male parents who were inspirational, or even just interesting... or just *interested*! All I got was a useless piece of shit, every lesson from who is something I've had to unlearn, and who is staggeringly uninterested in me and the world around him.

I think a lot of indie books dealing in superheroes get written off based on genre alone, and that’s fine, but always be willing to be surprised by what a book has to offer. I find it very interesting that a lot of the folks who enjoy KE have told me they’re not traditional superhero comic fans.

The roots of the book lie more in shonen manga and UK humour comics than they do traditional superheroes, but it’s that blend of all these elements that make the book work. It’s a mediation on identity and mental health and also full of bloody battles and fart jokes. At its core, the book is my

Mode of expression, to share what ideas resonate with me- how I feel, what I find funny, and the things I value in the world around me. Being a single author affords me that level of indulgence and I think, is what makes it all sing. I’ll work on it till it’s done, so I’d love for ya to join me.

The shit hoover we bought ten years ago keeps on living, but keeps getting shitter, so after doing well at Scotiacon we decided to get a new one - a *fancy* new one! It is literally the first time I have hoovered a room while standing up in over ten years.
