When I was working on my dissertation in 2014, I was at two institutions: one as a student and one as visiting faculty. Neither library could get me digital scores, the only format the composer had available. They just... didn't know how. This is good to see.

It's been SO INTERESTING to learn about Generative AI by making a Generative AI. For instance, it learns concepts in roughly the same order as students do in a theory classroom. At 15 minutes of training, it gets tonic prolongation & cadences, but not tonicization & mixture: #AI #MusicTheory
