Lift kit, oversized wheels, blacked out windows, licence plate covered. But sure…. Bike lane are the problem. Police need to step up enforcement including at the source: mechanic shops who performed these sort of modifications, should be fined and put out of business.

I found the Algonquin Wayfinding Wheel by Simon Brascoupé at Walkley Station today. This one is easy to find from the street at least. They all seem to be located near the train station entrances.

So apparently for the past few days, you cannot load a Presto card at any OC Transpo LRT station now, only at their Rideau Ctr outlet. There is a long line up at the Rideau Ctr because of course OC Transpo did not pay to have surge staffing today to deal with the predictable long line wait.

Depending on who you talk to the downward spiral inflection point changes. But most people would point to the 2008 budget (I think that's the year), the reduction in spending and availability, then the following layoffs. Now we are in the death spiral, barely holding it to a standstill, it seems.

Yesterday: Council approved yet another LRT Stage 1 settlement, Council approved more money for Byward but postponed the key walkability measure for 3 years, PWHL announced their discussion on moving out of Lansdowne because Council approved a smaller arena, and LRT broke in another light ice storm.

We’ve had successive terms of counsel led by mayors touting a low tax mantra. Look around your community. Is it better? Are the roads better? Do you have access to community centre or library? Can you get City services? How’s your transit? These are all things affected by taxes. Choose better.
