We’re starting this season with a BANG! 💥 The Rideau Canal Skateway opens tomorrow, Wednesday December 31, at 8 am! We’re in the home stretch of preparations to open a 3.4 km section between Somerset West and the Bank Street bridge. The Bank Street stairs will not be open for now.

When the distance between the light pole and the low brick wall doesn’t leave any room for error but you’ve got to drive the sidewalk plow through it anyway.

Currently on a train heading back from TOR to OTT. At Kingston, in order to alight a passenger with accessibility needs, we’ve had to leave the station and then back the train back in (switching tracks) because the platform we were on was not accessible. This is our nation’s rail service 🤦‍♂️.
