My initial impressions of Vampire Crawlers are very favorable. The basic gameplay loop is very easy to get into and somehow has a similar fast-paced feel to Vampire Survivors despite being a completely different format. Leveling up cards and nailing combos to obliterate enemies is very satisfying.

With a church group seeing Handel’s Messiah at Orchestra Hall. Dipped out at intermission. Got back late and ushers said wait in hall to time reentry. Friend opens door, realizes we’re a level above our box seats, launches himself over railing to box below. Horrified, I remain in hall for 2nd half.
