That doesn't mean we don't want to be. It is because many can't. Lack of accessibility and reasonable adjustments in workplaces, bias against us etc etc. PIP helps many to fund some of the adjustments they need. Cutting it means more of us unable to work, so more cost for the government later. 3/

This is all part of this government repeated attacks against disabled individuals though, and a complete lack of understanding about ADHD, autism, anxiety etc. Neurodivergent individuals are among the highest groups not to be in full time employment. 2/

Cutting PIP for ADHD, autism anxiety etc is the perfect example of government policies looking to grab headlines while actually costing more. PIP helps support many people to work. Cutting it means they risk being unable to, that means more costs in the long term. 1/ inews.co.uk/news/politic...
