Going to the theatre, and trying to time my journey hither to arrive just on time to see the people I'm going with, but not to have to make small talk. It's a knife-edge timing issue.

A tedious and petty reminder that those of us on district heat networks do not get the price cap. I paid £2000 for my heating and hot water last year. One person, and I hardly ever turn the radiators on.

Communal hot water was turned off for works yesterday afternoon and it seems they forgot to turn it back on again. I discovered this by getting in to the bath.
