Trump says he won’t sign any other bills until the SAVE Act is passed, which requires voters to show proof of citizenship with expensive documents like passports. Reminder: noncitizen voting is already illegal and incredibly rare. This is about voter suppression, plain and simple.

The SAVE Act is a major attack on voting rights. It is not a genuine voter ID reform, but rather an attempt to suppress turnout in future elections.
