Sometimes I think being rational and grounded (in my behavior, at least) makes me boring, and then I hear about the new Elizabeth Gilbert memoir.

I heard about how the Toxic Avenger reboot gave its $5mil advertising budget to a charity that pays off medical debt. That’s nothing to a larger studio, but this kind of thing is unheard of. Anyway it would be cool to see studio execs ground into a fine paste and their wealth redistributed.

It's August 31 and I just made the final edits to the research paper part of my master's project. Sent it and the accompanying zine to my professors and the librarian who will add it to the URI digital commons. I'm THRILLED to kick off September with this project fully in the can.
