Get hard copies. Especially of queer art, books, music, films. We’ve got to be archivists whether we want to be or not. I’m not going to see more things I love burn.

Went to a dance party at Riffraff last night. Coolest crowd, everyone dancing, getting drinks, then looking at books, then dancing again. I cannot overstate how awesome Providence can be.

I mentored the awesomest high school student this semester, a young writer I know from teaching summer writing workshops, and we just had our last meeting, and WTF I'M EMOTIONAL. She was just the best ever.

We just watched an utterly evil bill passed in the House, which could cause the deaths of countless trans kids. But sure, WHITE CIS MEN have it really hard. A disgrace.

I work with many young trans and queer people, and they have my whole heart. A large part of my work right now is validating queer teenagers, telling them that they deserve to take up space, that they deserve a full, long life. I wish the rest of the cis-world felt the same. Step up your allyship.

cis people on the skyline are genuinely more distressed by karoline leavitt’s lip fillers than the fact that congress just said, “what we should do is put any doctor or pharmacist in prison who gives lifesaving medical care to this specific kind of child we find gross.”
