Potholes are a serious problem in Providence and we need the resources to fix them! Our plan starts with reforming bad contracts that are shortchanging our city.

With most RIPTA services back on schedule, our neighbors shouldn’t be forced to wait out on the street. So the last two days, we’ve been carving out some small paths to improve accessibility! 🚍🚏

Earlier today, East Providence received much-needed assistance from the RI National Guard to support their snow removal operations. Our office is now urging Governor McKee to provide the same support to our Providence community.

It’s Monday, February 23rd and we are expecting heavy winds and snowfall throughout the day. This morning over 35,000 households are without power, so if you lose power, contact RI Energy at 855-743-1101 ⚠️ Stay safe neighbors and get ready to throw snowballs later! ❄️

Neighbors, with a ‘Blizzard Warning’ issued for 4pm and projections estimating 18 to 24 inches of snow, please take the time to grab essentials, from food to candles! And if you see an unhoused neighbor, please contact the Matthewson Street Church so a volunteer can connect them with shelter 🫶🏾
