What I think about as I watch the Thronglets Black Mirror episode.

A surprisingly wonderful film. Not that China doesn’t have good movies. They actually many. But this is the type of art film that I’m surprised modern day China would put out into the world. It’s extremely self-deprecating of both the entertainment industry and even China itself.

In honor of Veterans Day, I present to you Sound Off, an anthology of stories written by student veterans at Irvine Valley College. This summer, I was asked to both illustrate and lead a team of student illustrators to adapt several short stories into a graphic novel.
