Been watching a talk from the British Folklore Society about the 2025 National Folklore Survey For England and discovered that 70% of English people who visit stone circles do it because of something they watched on TV/Film. Doctor Who, Quatermass and Children of the Stones for the win!

So, people who reported the Facebook account pretending to be me are being told it won't be removed because it isn't breaking community guidelines. Because impersonating someone as part of a scam is apparently absolutely fine on Facebook.

When I started pushing that I would be focusing on fiction this year, I dropped every hint of wishy washy language and just put "Christopher Baggett is a writer" in every bio. Very, very freeing, can't recommend it enough.

There’s no way I’m going to be bullied by people claiming they’re Star Trek or Star Wars fans as a 52-year-old man now.
