Many important issues upon which to comment these days, but I’ll start with this - That Street Fighter movie looks absolutely perfect and exactly what it should be. We loved that game because it was wild, not because it was a gritty, dialed-back shadow of itself.

Including CURSE WORDS, which captured wizards and wizardry in the best and truest way they have ever been captured.

Maybe we should sue Dartmouth too.

Death Stranding 2 is my first Kojima game (I know…) and it’s one of the first things I’ve encountered since David Lynch died to have that same anything goes dream logic he brought to his work. Really loving it. An experience as much as (or more than?) a game.

Wake Up Dead Man - really enjoyed. Nice to see a sequel that’s not interested in just repeating the same formula. All three Benoit Blanc movies are radically different, but also maintain the things you like about the series. Josh O’Connor was particularly great.

I’m bouncing off Baldur’s Gate 3, which bums me out because I know many loved it. The playstyle is pretty new to me, and I’m on console, which I understand isn’t the best way. I’m still in the prologue mission (I know, give it a chance, right?) - does it open up, become more intuitive, lock in?

Saw an interesting piece of advice recently: ask the AI search engines for an answer in a field in which you are very knowledgeable. The results will make it clear just how much they get wrong, and how brazen they are about it. Now, apply that to every subject in which you are NOT an expert.

Looked up “what mobile parking app do I need for <this town>” - AI summary on Google confidently gave me the wrong answer, which I ignored because **it is wrong a third of the time, about ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING** (according to the last study I read.) The shit just doesn’t work.
