Imo the city of Seattle needs to play hardball with the suburban areas. If we aren't going to get urban light rail we need to roll out congestion pricing and bus lanes.

the transit security guy literally told us to take an uber. he also told us we couldn't get on the train because there was no driver, the driver had just gotten out and got in his car to drive home, and the train was going to drive itself back to the base. (???)

If a 27 year old woman was randomly killed on the streets of Capitol Hill by *anything* other than a motor vehicle it would be all over the front pages this morning. Cars are the thing that make me fear the most for my safety in this city and yet this is how the local paper of record responds.

media management deep dive continued (day 3): signed up for Apple Music, initial observations: - doesn't look like there are playlists for videos - my albums list now includes every album for every random single song I have - other bugs too, need to play around more but I think I like Tidal better

next media question: what options do I have to set up music to be able to stream in multiple rooms at once, in sync? do I have to get some smart system or whatever like sonos? or can I have stuff connected to a central media pc or something. I am very clueless.
