It is so easy not to be a dickhead. In this industry, in any industry, it’s just the simplest thing possible to exist without actively causing harm or detriment to others. The fact some people can still so catastrophically fail at this simplest concept is beyond me.

I see that we're now at the "using big words in your book is ableism" point in the degradation of media literacy. You have in your hand a device that can pull up the definition of any word, dictionaries exist. If you don't know a word, look it up. What the hell has happened to curiosity??

I feel like people shouldn't be able to perpetuate myths about a whole category of people and still be taken seriously in their career fields. I've heard these talking points parroted by so many people who are supposed to know better.

"Justice Sensitivity" is an *actual symptom* of AuDHD/ASD/etc. Which is exactly that: we feel so strongly that others shouldn't be hurt that our nervous system overloads. I really, *really* despise a bunch of the people who listened to this nutter.

People who climb Mount Everest give me the ick because not only are they paying thousands of dollars to endanger their life and other people's lives... how and where are they pooping? (Rhetorical question, we all know the answer.)

this is not directed at anyone in particular, as i have seen this sentiment shared relatively often since before i become a part of the games industry, but i don't get people who have Made It in a particular field who then tell younger generations "don't" when they dream of doing the same

It's okay guys. You can relate to trans struggles with gender/dysphoria/social expectations w/o also being trans. They're not our problems exclusively. We're aware. In fact, the shared experience is often what we hope to chat abt when we come out. We're just tired of being called delusional for it.
