👓: Day six of eight of my vacation. I probably could have been more productive through it; most I did was edit some of the animatic but I can only do so much at this stage. I probably could write more, but...I dunno. Something's off. I thought this would have revitalized me.

👓: This cough is genuinely the worst; I preferred when I was just sick. It's likely post-viral, maybe from COVID, so nothing adequately works on it. They're painful and frequent enough to be distracting, and they've been destroying my sleep. And they may take *three weeks* to go away? Fuck.

👓: The majority of the solution, it turns out, was to let myself hack up a lung practically and force the phlegm out. It's not 100% out but it already feels much better. And to clarify, I'm taking precautions at work. Masking up, hand sanitizing, the works.

👓: God, I hate this. A relentless and *violent* dry cough that just won't go away. I'm trying every medicine and home remedy I can think of. Salt water, vapo-rub, pineapple juice, cough drops, actual Mucinex...Nothing is working, and it's made for utterly restless sleep.

👓: Work went okay, came in with hand sanitizer and my masks from the COVID era that were still usable (washable). Still don't fully have my voice yet, but I think before the weekend is out I'll be right as rain. Seems this has been going around lately, though. Protect yourselves.

👓: Working the next three days as morning shifts while not technically 100% recovered from this throat biz, wish me luck

👓: StarFox announcement today? And discourse about it being another 64 remake, I see. So I get the argument, I'd love to see more stories with them, but the fact we're getting anything *at all* is a win. Half a dozen of Nintendo's properties get buried easily. Look at F-Zero, for example.

👓: I actually *did* work on it some yesterday, and it's getting there. The audio's lining up. Might have to figure out if I want sound effects and ambient music, but I might have to consider a composer too. Also listening to my own voice is weird, I'm half considering recasting myself if necessary.
