👓: Figured out how to make a mouth open/shut in Moho so that's good. Though I do also feel that I might be overcomplicating things too, but we'll see how things look. Again, this is a prototype. From an amateur. It's a proof of concept.

👓: Okay so, that animation practice did help revitalize me a bit, enough to make me excited to go home and do more of it. It's still a tad amateur, and I have to reteach myself how masking works, but the use of bones will absolutely help in making a character rig for versatility.

👓: On a more positive note, I've taken some time to fiddle with Moho 12 a bit. Still getting the hang of things but it would definitely benefit me to keep practicing. If I can get a whole rig going for the cast, I could put together things.

👓: So ultimately a lot of my moods lately are just primarily due to me burning out from work and wanting to do Something Else™. But also I live in a citywide retirement home with zero growth opportunities. Hence trying to make the show. Or getting any sort of writing job. I'm not fussy.

👓: I do still wanna write and create, just to clarify. But I'm increasingly growing exhausted by the disparity between how much effort I put in my work and what comes of it. That's why I haven't written that novel sequel. Four hundred pages for a dozen sales and critical panning. No thanks.

👓: So I think part of my issue is, and I've discussed this in the past, but I don't handle silence or being ignored very well. More so than rejection, because at least that's a firm answer. But it's the silence that's maddening. And I worry that the Vanessaverse will feel the same way.

👓: So I asked this before, and got no answers, but I have been debating on going to a convention at some point so I can actually talk to people I like for once. But I also want to go to one that my friends will be at so I'm not isolated there too. Ideally the later half of the year.
