I'm seeing people post things like "things would be boring if Harris were president" and look, it would be much better if Trump weren't president, but posts like that are telling people that we are not in the fight of our lives, and that the end goal is complacency. That is how we got here.

Really we all should root for a Knicks-Sixers playoff series every year because it’s one of the few matchups where the teams commute back and forth via chartered Amtrak trains instead of chartered flights. Tons of C02 emissions saved (Sixers boarding train pics from 2024)

never has minneapolis needed to celebrate the sun coming more than at the end of winter 2026. ICE are not gone completely, but we still won, and it was incredibly cathartic to see this ceremony at mayday about protecting our neighbors, grounding why we did this work. i love this city

Three incredible things from this story: 1) the first words are “A 3-year-old hunter” 2) the “mentor” was exempt from “hunter education certification” bc of their “military training.” 3) the adult shot in the turkey hunt was an off-duty law enforcement officer.

This part of Lyndale is being reconstructed in 2028, but the bikeway and pedestrian safety improvements are only going in north of 28th St, so this could still happen in the busiest part of the corridor - the LynLake area. It's not too late to change that though! Contact your City Council member!
