So a thing about CPD (this prob happens in other large cities, too) Is that when a suspect is not cooperative enough, they will release them, but intentionally drop them off in the wrong neighborhood, knowing they'll be killed for being in the wrong place We've had gang wars start this way

My larger point being, Chicago police have a long history of setting people up to be assaulted and abused or even killed while being able to keep their own hands clean because they weren't the ones pulling triggers. I wouldn't be surprised if that tactic gets trotted out. Let the city handle it

I hate having to say no to a hangout but I also hate being physically uncomfortable, knowing I could be an inconvenience if violently ill, for several hours and not being able to do anything about despite any prep to the contrary. I'm just old! And hangouts are few and far between.
