Traffic inbound (East) on the Boise I-84 connector was at a total bumper-to-bumper standstill this evening. Traffic backed up for several miles. Took me an hour to drive home, usually a 15 min drive. An ambulance has to try to ride the left shoulder through this mess with lights and siren blaring.

Made one of my favorite things this morning, squash blossom pancakes/crepes. My grandma made us these seasonal treats. Wash blossoms, cut out stigma/stamen, lay flat between towels & pat dry, dip in crepe batter, arrange in pan on low, poor more batter to cover. Serve w/butter &/or maple syrup.
