The GOP’s nearly century long project to roll back the New Deal in its entirety includes erasing any artistic or cultural legacy of it that would preserve the memory of it. This is uncultured barbarism yes, but it’s also an attempt to erase history.

Dems should absolutely treat Republican colleagues with contempt. That they don't is because they think they themselves will be fine. That Republicans wouldn't have gone through with J6 and imprisoning Dems. They would have. With a smile.

Conservatives largely subsumed legacy media with a very simple scam. If there is a controversy, no matter how transparently fake that controversy is, then legacy media must give equal space to both sides. With enough money, you can create a national Flat Earth Movement.

Once a politician turns 65, they should be eligible for a Congressional advisory board with no voting power. Similar to how some board of directors operate. You get the benefits of old people (wisdom, experience) without the problems (being frozen in time past a certain age, health problems etc).
