It’s been a while since we’ve put an issue of Seize The Press out, simply cos I couldn’t find the right stories. But I just sent the final copy of issue #12 off to be compiled and I’m so excited for people to read it, I’m really proud of this one.

Rereading the Gillan foreword for UNCERTAIN SONS. Few pick up on patterns and recurring details like these. My working theory is that he has an eidetic memory. ‘The Knave’ for Lancer RPG’s Shadow of the Wolf narrative expansion

I just reread Joe Koch’s story The Power Company Detective that will be in the next issue of Seize The Press and there’s such a raw energy to the prose, it rearranged my brain chemistry. Genuinely think Joe is one of the best writers out there and you’re going to love this story in the worst way.

Read I Am Legend today and it had this stark duality of a bunch of shit I hate and a bunch of stuff I love in the same book. The scientific rationalisation and extended explanation for vampires was boring as shit, but the chapter with the dog broke me.

ICYMI, I've a novella out. I described it to my editor as Ghibli-esque NORMAL PEOPLE in India with dragons, if you enjoy reductive comps. It's a mythic realist tale about a family who may be extradimensional refugees living in Calcutta, through the lens of their child coming of age in the 90s/00s.
