I'd like to clarify that I've since seen POTA, and David was right: it's a very good movie.

What radicalized me? I don't know, media literacy? I don't know how the fuck you grow up reading/watching/listening to Star Trek, superheroes, Saturday morning cartoons, hip-hop, A Christmas Carol, Sesame Street, and damn near every piece of media and not come away with any empathy or moral center.

I made a good living working with WWE back in the day, and I am a sincere (though lapsed) fan of rasslin’, but I still die a little inside whenever I see a wrestling article as a featured story on a comics news site.
