I hate that I haven't really worked on any public projects since publishing my GT video. It leads to my brain guilting me into thinking I'm getting lazy, or at least looking lazy. And it's not that I have no ideas either. The drive just isn't there, I think partly because of said mental stress.

While it's 100% possible for gay/bisexual folks to express anti-trans beliefs, the idea that Dana Terrace - the same Dana Terrace behind The Owl House - is transphobic all because she confirmed a character of hers is cisgender is laughable at best.

This tweet I stumbled across the other day sums up my own personal feelings well, because one issue I've taken notice is how people perceive the queer community as a whole largely through stereotypes (e.g., assuming a woman is queer simply because she doesn't look or act "womanly" enough).

Hot take, but activism shouldn't mean that you need to be a constant killjoy who hates fun. Nobody is saying you have to be happy about the state of the world, but I don't think it helps anyone if you become the same miserable people that the right are.

This is what I feared about the aftermath of my past Sony Animation controversy. People took the wrong lesson from it and now believe that I was only wrong because I didn’t attack the “right” movies. As we’ve seen from the Fixed backlash, they don’t care about the studio or the people working there.

Reminder that a few years ago, a Disney movie had a villain who was a paranoid dictator who thought everyone should grovel at his feet, got angry at any criticism of his policies and tried to shut down anyone who opposed him.

Whenever sites come up with new rules like this I thing about how if you were a creator who was making something every bit on the level with a hugely popular and acclaimed series, would you be allowed to share it? Like, if you were sitting on the next Game of Thrones, you couldn’t share that here.

Here's my take on what's going in with #KnightsOfGuinevere: The creators of the show are not obligated to make their characters anything for anyone. This is their story, and they're gonna make it their way. Reps are great, but it shouldn't take priority over a good story. Otherwise it's pointless.

Genndy Tartakovsky has shared on Instagram the animation test for Black Knight in order to hopefully get Sony Pictures Animation to make their film and change the studio execs' minds. The test is really cool, and I seriously hope it gets made. Go give him support!
