Welp, the time has come Part of me kinda had the feeling that the current production season was going to be its last one. While I feel that the show has run its course for a while, I obviously wish the crew members good luck for getting future jobs.

At the end of the day, I hope everyone involved with the recently cancelled Loud House find more work in the animation industry or somewhere. It's rough. Real rough.

Everyone celebrating this needs to check their priorities. Artists losing their jobs is NOT okay, regardless of if you liked their shows or not. You're acting no better than Amid Amidi did when he called for the show's cancellation years ago.

To anybody celebrating The Loud House ending, y'all need to wake up and realize that the animation industry is in shambles right now. People are losing their jobs. Also not everyone in TLH fandom is a creepy incest-loving weirdo. I'm friends with some sane fans of the show and they're wonderful

Hollywood can integrate artificial intelligence in their business strategy without laying off hundreds or thousands of people and creatives rely on their craftsmanship. When we say “No AI”, we mean “No generative AI” which not only cuts corners but art gets stolen without compensation.

The rule should be “once it enters production, we can announce this project to the public.” That’s probably not foolproof either (certain WB movies), but it would likely have a lower chance of disappointing potential viewers down the line.

I can’t help but wonder why Sony didn’t make a deal with a streamer, unless they don’t want to potentially face a repeat of KPDH’s success for another company.

It's been five years since it was revealed that Blue Sky Studios would be shuttering and I'm still not over it. It's still a massive loss for animation and I know they really could've shined this decade with ambitious films like Nimona had they endured. I'll forever miss them.

I wonder if the animated Ghostbusters movie going to Netflix has to do with Frozen Empire only making $200 million on a $100 million budget. About the same gross as Afterlife, but that film had a lower $75 million budget.

The ‘Ghostbusters’ animated movie is moving forward at Sony Pictures Animation. The film will be a Netflix exclusive with Sam Jarvis (‘Dollface’) writing the script.

I hope Dana Walden is seeing the positive response to the new Muppet Show special and already planning her first decision as CCO. One question: Did Walter have a scheduling conflict? He did help the Muppets save the theatre, so it's odd he wasn't there.
