The shift towards fascism is global. It did not begin with Trump, and it is very unlikely to end there. We of course notice it the most in the US because of American global hegemony, but the same trajectory has been underway here for some time. Trump simply helped accelerate it.

This is disingenuous. The only public statement from the board on this was in May, prior to the Ministerial Order, and there's not a peep after that. The board has consistently failed to speak up on the issues that matter.

Well, the list of books being banned from EPSB is appalling. And it's very likely that an author on this list will get their other works pulled too, especially in the absence of teacher librarians. There are books on this list that changed my life. This is what the UCP is taking away from kids.
