I think the most pragmatic thing people can do, if they're being mandated to use LLMs, is to unionise. If by some miracle the bubble doesn't burst, there will still likely be lots of layoffs so get protecting yourself and your colleagues. @ethanmarcotte.com has got the blueprint for you here.

How do y'all deal with packaging secrets for desktop app? Say I'm working on a rust app that reads "FOO_SECRET" or such from some env – when I package the dmg, what are my options to keep that secret secure?

@zed.dev is there any way to exclude certain patterns from showing in the diff view? For example: "Don't show me Cargo.lock, bun.lock, etc" when viewing the diff. I'd love to be able to do this (or even just default collapse them) as I don't care about the changes in these files.
