Hanwha Eagles will be in the KBO playoffs! They finished 2nd place. They clinched a spot a while ago, but the season is officially done now. Eagles last made the playoffs in 2017, and that's the only time over the past 17 years. This is their best season since 1992. This is huge for them.

#RandomGameSaturday Zombies Ate My Neighbors (SNES) This has such a unique style. The main characters are so early ‘90s. And there are many references to mainstream horror movies & B-movie horror. Also an incredibly challenging game. The fear of losing a run is actual-scary among the funny-scary.

Due to the unique way Super Mario Bros. stores its maps, its level designers were at the mercy of the decorative hills and bushes when placing bottomless pits. While the pits can be placed freely, the decorations are non-negotiable and dictate the level design.

Playing some Raiden V tonight. The Raiden series always makes it so god damn fun to just shoot some stuff and make stuff blow up and dodge bullets. They're set up to just hit all the good dopamine points, win or lose.

This is something that I feel people don't talk about. The packaging for Lunar is one of the most stellar things about the game; they made the release feel like it deserved all the time they spent making it, and it's a huge part of why people go to bat for them (justifiedly or not) to this day.
