Elon Musk is unambiguously calling for a violent race war. This is far from unprecedented. The Rwandan Genocide was stoked and enabled by Felicien Kabuga, the wealthy owner of the RTLM radio station that helped coordinate the genocide and used euphemisms like "go to work" to signal attacks.

when you point out that native-born white working class men are a small minority of a majority female, disproportionately BIPOC, and disproportionately immigrant working class... even if Platner were working class, he still wouldn't be representative of the working class and its interests

Poor and working men are meant to have women of their class to abuse and dominate as compensation for the exploitations and humiliations of capital. When you point out that allowing this is a violation of class solidarity working class women, youâre accused of siding with managementâs interests.

A bunch of people on this site are being stupidly literal about the "HR lady" thing. It's not just about HR depts! It's about this idea -- absolutely ubiquitous over on X & in tech company boardrooms -- that bold, risk-taking "masculine energy" is being restrained by niggling nanny-state rules.

Part of the problem with the narrative is it obscures other possibilities: its faith, not works. Itâs a binary instead of the long spectrum of *being,* day by day, a better person. It presents goodness as inert: a static condition. Yr found? Thatâs nice. Show us. Then do so again tomorrow.

This will not end w/ voting rights. The fundamental premises of these SCOTUS opinions are: 1) Anti-discrimination is actually unconstitutional discrimination; 2) Intentional discrimination isn't actionable if any alternative rationale is presented. It's the beginning of the end of civil rights law.

patriarchy, like white supremacy, is not "natural," as much as its practitioners insist it is. and of course, most of the time "natural" = "biblical." it is a system of power. it's a choice. it just becomes wallpaper because it's so endemic, but it's weird! we can make other choices! ĂgalitĂŠ!
