I love cats. our cat is a tortie and her tortietude is REAL. she screams at my partner (now fiancé!! aaa!!) a lot for food. but he's been in office for a week. when he's not here, she's sleepy, quiet, only yells lightly for food at the appropriate times. then he gets home and she SCREAMS for food 😂

I often wish I existed in an era where I could focus all my time on “being really good at writing” (or any other single craft) instead of our present reality of “constantly, frantically improving 25 different skills at once to survive” I do not think this has been good for our mental health
