I’m an old , so there are things that experience SHOULD have taught me already when it comes to driving But I didn’t start driving until recently … so it’s very overwhelming sometimes

I started my first business in 2009. While I had a full time job. I would come home and recruit for clients on the west coast after working an 8 hr shift. Ultimately I built a name for myself in my industry and was able to market myself as a recruiting consultant and my business took off.

Folks started pushing “owning your own business” like it was just some simple task and it somehow made you better than employees. And never once stopped to say you also need a really good idea that you’re excited about.

I sacrificed SO much for my career. And I didn’t even want that shit by the time I achieved it. I had stayed so focused on the goal … I never stopped to asses if my goals had changed.

I’m past these days of life and I’m okay with that too. I spent allll of my 20’s (and much of my 30s) building my own and other folks businesses. I did the things. Worked my ass off. Made the money. Hit the goals. And I was miserable. I’m okay with just BEING.

Sex is a piece of an equation. As is mental stimulation, compatability, intellect, approach to life, etc. I can like/indulge in any part of the equation with someone, but if the other pieces don't add up, I'm not going to desire partnership with them

Yes. Sex isn't enough for me to get emotionally attached to someone like they. If we're having sex consistently, that's definitely someone I care about, but not necessarily someone I feel for as deeply as I would a romantic partner
