I cannot be the only person who read the VERY NEXT PARAGRAPH from the one everyone is quoting. So how come so few are putting it in context? Only rational explanation I can find is that it detracts from the "heat" of this moment and those quoting are interested in maintaining a high temperature. 3/3

My great-uncle Herb Reichlin lost an eye fighting for this country in Europe and is buried in Arlington Cemetery. I am confident that he would have been furious to hear the plight of refugees crossing the Mediterranean described as an invasion in comparison to D-Day.
