The IOC has announced a trans and intersex athlete ban requiring an invasive SRY genetic test for female athletes. In the 20+ years trans women were eligible, only one ever competed and none ever medaled. This is solving for a problem that doesn't exist.

The NHS struggles to record and recognise non binary gender identities. Not surprising then that the evidence base for non binary identities is poor. Note- this is not trans masc only non binary.

Today's ban on NHS HRT for under 18s formalises a policy that has already been in place - Noone under 18 has received a new prescription for HRT since mid 2024 (I don't know of any since late 2023). Of course this policy also raises the risk of similar action on private healthcare for under 18s.

Medical transition for trans kids is now banned for new referrals on the NHS. Trans kids in the UK can still go private or DIY (for now). This means the new clinics that replaced GIDS are close to useless at best, conversion therapy at worst. 1/5

The law on universities and free speech prevents speakers from being *disinvited after they have been invited*. It does not require universities to provide a platform to whoever demands one. Let's not mince words: the threat to cut funding to every university who disagrees with them is fascist.

A decade of trans advocacy has taught me people believe lies because they want to, not because they don't know they are lies. They believe trans people will regret our transition because they want us to regret our transition. They believe we are a "social contagion" because that is how they see us
