I attended the 1st protest of my life today with my 84 yo father. I cannot begin to express how powerful it was. The connection to other people who are as passionate as I am. Participating in something that reduces feelings of helplessness/ hopelessness. It was healing & energizing. Cheers💙🇺🇲💙

So, Rapture Day is upon us. I have a feeling I know a certain number of people that are going to be pretty disappointed by Thursday.

Update I posted pictures recently about a cardinal nest of 3 eggs, after they hatched, & some development. It had a bad ending. I was totally devastated. Well, there's a new nest! Different area. Eggs just laid the other day. Fingers crossed that this couple has success with their new brood 💙💫💙

I was able to capture a double rainbow forming just a few minutes after I saw my first hummingbird at the new feeder. It's not the best photo but it was a pretty fantastic experience
