Today's progress: -Added lock-on feature -Removed lock-on feature because it feels wrong I might opt for a small correction towards the closest enemy when attacking, to make things a little smoother though. But no extra keybinding for that.

Fixed a bug yesterday where the player would move incredibly slowly upon spawning in some levels. Turns out I had accidentally duplicated some spawn points, making two player characters spawn *inside* each other. I seem to produce more bugs than actual code some days.

One problem with bragging about how much you vibecode instead of doing your job, is that when stuff breaks people will know exactly why the thing broke. The other problem is that because you can't do your fucking job anymore, you have no idea why it broke.

Just solved a bug that crashed my game for all of last week. Couldn't track the fucker down until now. If you deep copy a lua table, make sure you don't rely on pointer-like behaviour of object references in there... Anyways, sleeping well tonight, am satisfied.

Starting Disco Elysium is the first time in a while I was overwhelmed with its systems when starting a new game - I'm damn glad I didn't quit tho, it's a banger! (Once I've had a basic grasp on reality, since damn there's a lotta history to be learned first, but THE WORLD IS SO COOL)

I remember when he made the most ambitious game of all time, Spore. Everyone let me know about it. Also, until I saw this, I had no idea what he looked like. I had just assumed the dude from Link's Awakening and the SNES Sim City was an accurate depiction.

More item-related curses: - items skitter away from you every two seconds - drop inventory items on being hit (Except that sometimes you drop _all_ your items on being hit, which, while hilarious, is a bug^^)
