I loved David Lynch's work, especially the final Twin Peaks series, because it suggested strongly that the weird world, not the real world, is the true world.

I had a day trip out to East Riddleston Hall last week, and they had decorated some of the rooms with diyas and rangolis for Diwali. It was really lovely to see the usual info boards with the history of the house as well as boards explaining the festival.
