Lies of P has some of the best Souls combat I've ever played but I am nearing the end of the base game and trying the DLC, and there is a noticeable fall-off in boss quality after Victor. Really hoping it rallies and that the DLC bosses specifically start being more fun, on the second and it sucks

Silent Hill f is absolutely stellar so far. Like a lot of people, the combat is not my favorite though it gets better once you start to pick up on its nuances. But the game took an absolutely WILD turn last night in terms of plot and mechanics at about the 6 hour mark that has me fiending to play.

Top 5 Survival Horror game for me, definitely worth your time and cash.

Silent Hill f looked strong from the trailers and the early buzz being largely positive has me very happy and more hopeful for this one. I think getting away from the titular town might actually be good for the series in the long run so fingers crossed that it lands for me.

At the Gates are such an important band in the history of extreme metal and losing Tomas Lindberg is a rough one to process. Genuinely, without both his music and a whole lotta bands inspired by it, I would not be the same person in terms of musical taste today.

I get some of the complaints around Silksong's difficulty but idk, I'm loving the challenge so far. I've yet to encounter a runback that was truly egregious and most of the bosses make sense after a few tries. Only one has kept me stuck on it for more than an hour though I suspect that'll change.

Finished Heartworm. Enjoyed it overall but I was left wishing there was more meat on its bones. Wasn't really any combat variety and puzzles felt very simple for the genre. The graphics and music and overall vibe of the game are great and I'd still recommend it. But it was slightly disappointing.

So it turns out this Silksong game is pretty good whodathunk it Jokes aside after the first couple hours where it's easing you back in this game gets GOOD with its boss fights. Cleared a couple that had me extremely hyped by the end of them.
