I've gotten a Steel Soul run in Silksong to the point where I have all the movement upgrades and I am lowkey terrified to reset at this point. From this moment on I'm gonna be practicing each segment/boss with a fail risk before attempting it cause I don't wanna lose this run.

Silksong is holding up so well on the second playthrough and with the recent announcement, I'm glad I decided to pick it up again to start working towards a Steel Soul run. Can't wait to see what nonsense (positive) Team Cherry is gonna throw at us after the challenge of the base game.

Lies of P has some of the best Souls combat I've ever played but I am nearing the end of the base game and trying the DLC, and there is a noticeable fall-off in boss quality after Victor. Really hoping it rallies and that the DLC bosses specifically start being more fun, on the second and it sucks

Silent Hill f is absolutely stellar so far. Like a lot of people, the combat is not my favorite though it gets better once you start to pick up on its nuances. But the game took an absolutely WILD turn last night in terms of plot and mechanics at about the 6 hour mark that has me fiending to play.

Top 5 Survival Horror game for me, definitely worth your time and cash.

Silent Hill f looked strong from the trailers and the early buzz being largely positive has me very happy and more hopeful for this one. I think getting away from the titular town might actually be good for the series in the long run so fingers crossed that it lands for me.

So I guess I'm not getting anything productive done until Silksong is finished huh I think I'm getting close to the end of Act 2 but keep finding new stuff I missed so I have no idea.

At the Gates are such an important band in the history of extreme metal and losing Tomas Lindberg is a rough one to process. Genuinely, without both his music and a whole lotta bands inspired by it, I would not be the same person in terms of musical taste today.

I get some of the complaints around Silksong's difficulty but idk, I'm loving the challenge so far. I've yet to encounter a runback that was truly egregious and most of the bosses make sense after a few tries. Only one has kept me stuck on it for more than an hour though I suspect that'll change.

Ignore the hot take machine, the conspiracy theorists, and the people who tell you to be afraid.
