Adjacent to this, more people need to know that artists, authors, zine makers, etc, are all paying for their tables (and stock, hotels, travel, food) to vend at conventions. They aren't staff, they aren't earning an hourly wage to be there, they're paying to be there.

At the end of the day, for better or worse the only "Someone Who Can Do Something" is *us*, especially when we work together as a community. We have to save each other.
