In her callback, Juliana started by saying that she loved listening to The Bright Sessions when she was a teenager. This was both absolutely horrifying and so lovely - how special that I get to make art with someone who grew up with my writing.

I’ve known Erika for, and I can’t believe this, 10 years. We were in a delightful web series called Natural 20 approximately 100 lifetimes ago + not only is it the thing that introduced me to D&D, but it also introduced me to Erika + their absolute wealth of talent! so excited to work w them again!

Briggon needs no introduction here. Y’all know how I feel about him. He’s my brother and he’s been hearing me talk about this show ad nauseam since February 2023, so honestly I’m surprised he was still up for being in it.

I haven’t known Erin for long, but her audition immediately grabbed me - she just instantly sank into the person that Jo is. I cannot wait to see her take this character on!

I first heard Nicholas in @gabrielurbina.com’s brilliant Hit Singles - I was always going to love that show, but his performance was a highlight in a project full of them. When I found out what an incredible musician he was? Well, it was simple. He was our Ren.

I'm so proud of this season and this episode in particular - it's chaotic and messy, just like Harper and Havoc, and it asks a bunch of really hard questions without answering any of them. I hope you enjoy it! and I'd recommend sticking around through the credits...
