This is a fantastic point -- I think it better describes why I'm emphatically opposed to LLMs replacing front line government staff. The problems you could run into at a field office for almost any service can get *weird* and it's super easy for an LLM to mess it up.

Rice Universityâs Leadership in Carbon Nanomaterials for Climate Technology: My Owl Have You Know Podcast
I had a surreal experience this week. For nearly half my life, I've been running along the Rice Outer Loopâthe crushed gravel trail shaded by 100-year-old live oaks circling the perimeter of campusâwith podcasts streaming through my earbuds. But this time was different: I was listening to MYSELF on Rice University's "Beyond The Hedges" podcast while retracing those familiar steps.

As predicted, women in New Hampshire had a hard time voting yesterday because of the new proof of citizenship law: âIt doesnât have my married name on it,â she said. Town voting officials then sent her away a second time, to get her marriage certificate.

NHâs new ID requirements send some would-be voters home to grab passports, birth certificates
The law requires all new voters to show proof of their U.S. citizenship. For some, that meant making multiple trips to and from the polls before finally casting a ballot on Tuesday.
