Ordering it into your local comic shop is the most helpful, because it brings the book to the people who love comics and carefully curate collections for their customers. A local shop that recommends us to the discerning reader means more to us than just about anything else!

I'm convinced that there's nothing to the project of modern life beyond various denials: denial of death, denial of grief, denial of mystery, denial of incompleteness, denial of trust, denial of care, denial of vulnerability. A lifetime of denial, and one last stupid moment of forced awe at the end.

Hobtown is a really special thing, if you didn't read the two first books yet you really should.

So excited for this. The Hobtown Mystery Stories are my favorite comics of the last few years. There's a visual element in the first book that I come across on my walks from time to time and it gives me the willies now and likely will for the rest of my days (in a good way).
